The Kyngs Privacy Policy explains exactly what personal data we collect when you visit our website, register an account or contact our team, why we collect it, who we share it with and how to exercise the rights granted to you by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent Irish and UK legislation. The policy is written in plain English on purpose: privacy should not require a legal degree.
This policy applies to all services provided under the Kyngs brand, including the casino, live casino, sportsbook, promotions and customer support. Any questions about your personal data can be sent to dpo@kyngs.co.uk or raised through the Kyngs contact page.
What personal data does Kyngs collect?
When you register, we collect your name, date of birth, address, email, phone number and a verification document such as a passport or driving licence. When you deposit, we collect payment method details limited to what is needed to process the transaction. When you play, we record stakes, returns, bets, bonus activity and game history for accounting and regulatory purposes. When you contact support, we keep a record of the conversation so future enquiries have context.
Technical data
We also collect technical data such as device type, browser, IP address, approximate location and the pages you visit on Kyngs.co.uk. This data is processed under our legitimate interest in providing a secure service, detecting fraud and improving the product.
How does Kyngs use my information?
Your data is processed to deliver the services you have requested: opening your account, processing deposits and withdrawals, settling bets, paying out winnings and providing support. It is also processed to meet our legal obligations around age verification, anti-money laundering, responsible gambling and accounting record keeping.
With your consent, we may use your contact details to send you marketing about Kyngs promotions, new games and tournaments. You can withdraw consent at any moment from inside your account or by clicking unsubscribe in any marketing email. Withdrawing marketing consent has no effect on the operational emails we are required to send you, such as withdrawal confirmations.
Who does Kyngs share my data with?
We share data only with parties who genuinely need it. Payment processors handle your transactions. Game studios receive a pseudonymised player ID so they can settle game rounds. Identity verification partners check your documents. Our regulator and licensing authority can request data within the scope of their oversight. Anti-fraud and AML partners help us detect and prevent illicit activity.
Every partner is bound by a data processing agreement that limits use of your data strictly to the agreed purpose. Kyngs does not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
What GDPR rights do I have at Kyngs?
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to ask for deletion (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations), to restrict processing, to receive your data in a portable format, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent where you previously granted it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
To exercise any right, email dpo@kyngs.co.uk from the email registered to your account. We respond within thirty days and most requests are handled in considerably less.
How long does Kyngs keep your data?
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a minimum of five years after closure, in line with anti-money laundering requirements. Marketing data is retained until you withdraw consent. Support transcripts are retained for two years for quality and dispute purposes. Technical logs are retained for shorter rolling periods, typically thirty to ninety days, after which they are deleted or fully anonymised.
More information about your choices and our cookies sits on the Kyngs Cookie Policy page.
Additional notes on data security, international transfers and our review schedule for the Kyngs Privacy Policy.
Data security measures
Personal data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest using AES-256. Access to production systems is restricted to a small, audited group of engineers, all of whom complete regular security training. Penetration tests are conducted by independent specialists at least annually, and any verified vulnerability is triaged and remediated under documented timelines.
International data transfers
The majority of Kyngs data processing happens inside the EEA and UK. Where a partner is located elsewhere, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses and any additional safeguards required by the European Data Protection Board's transfer guidance. You can request the full list of recipients by emailing dpo@kyngs.co.uk.
Review schedule
This policy is reviewed at least once a year and whenever a material change to processing is introduced. Significant updates trigger an email to all active account holders so you always know what has changed.
